Held by the Herd - A gentle space for parents supporting teens through mental health challenges.

  • Abbotsford, British Columbia, V3G 2L1 Canada (map)

When you notice a big shift in your teenager’s mental health, your world changes.

They weren’t always like this, but something changed during the teen years. Now, so much of your energy has gone to worrying, understanding, supporting, researching, and advocating for your teen.

You’ve been doing everything you can think of to help them AND hold it all together for everyone.

But who supports you in all of this? Where do you get to set it all down?

I’ve been there, and I know what it’s like. I also know that it can feel as though there is no time for us.

That’s exactly why I wanted to create something for you.

A small gathering held on a peaceful property with horses, myself, and nature as your support system.

It’s where YOU get to be supported and set it all down. Not as a strategy to fix your child, but because you matter too.

Because parenting through this is heavy.

There is nothing you need to do or fix. You simply arrive and allow yourself to exhale.

The horses, the land, and gentle practices that support nervous system regulation help you soften, settle, and reconnect with yourself again.

In their presence, something begins to shift.

When you feel supported and regulate your nervous system in an impactful way, you reconnect with yourself and your ability to meet yourself and your teen with more presence and steadiness.

And something in the relationship with your teen begins to shift.

Not because you are suddenly doing it right, but because you are no longer doing it alone, depleted, and overwhelmed.

There is space for 6 people to attend allowing for safety & support.

As this is a private residence on Sumas Mountain, the address will be sent once your spot is confirmed.
